Script $gvsqw_OraBin/sqwora_PartialRefresh.ksh :


Refresh of a tables list for one schema by exp/imp
Actions:

  • Makes export of distant tables to refresh by ssh (list contained in a file)
  • Retrieve dump file by scp
  • Drop tables to refresh
  • Makes import


The script can also:

  • change of unix users target/source
  • send email report of refresh
  • run shell script after load



Online help

The online help is available for most scripts with the -h option.

Usage: sqwora_PartialRefresh.ksh [-h] -I <instance> -IS <instance> -US <hostname> -O <owner> -F <filename> [+ options]

DESCRIPTION
   sqwora_PartialRefresh.ksh Run partial refresh on target instance (exp/imp)
SUPPORT
   Oracle supported versions: 9iR2 <= v <= 21c

PARAMETERS
     -I  instance       : Target instance to reload tables.
     -IS instance       : Source instance source of export.
     -US hostname       : Source hostname.
     -F  filename       : File with tables list to reload.
     -O  owner          : Owner of schema.
OPTIONS
     -h                 : Display the full usage.
     -s                 : Display samples of usage.
     -S  scriptname     : Script to execute after reload and before constraints activation.
     -Pdb pdb_name      : pdb_name for multitenant.
     -FRT return_code   : Force return code value on error.
     -After scriptname  : Script to execute at the end.
     -AddMail   email   : Email address to add at 'pmexpdba@gmail.com'.
     -SendReport        : Send execution log report.
     -NoMail            : Deactivate sendmail on error to pmexpdba@gmail.com (by default, send on error).
     -Locale    locale  : Force Locale for help display (fr,en).
     -Exec              : Execute refresh (by default, display generated commands).

Errors passing arguments

This type of message is generated:

Lack instance parameter, Usage: sqwora_PartialRefresh.ksh [-h] -I <instance> -IS <instance> -US <hostname> -O <owner> -F <filename> [+ options]
For full help : sqwora_PartialRefresh.ksh -h

If you are connecting through a terminal, no mail will be sent and you will have more this kind of message:

Not sending mail because you are in connected mode !!!
Lack instance parameter

If you are not connected to a terminal, the error message appears and is sent by mail to the address contained in the variable $gvsqw_GlobalMail (See help customize this variable). The subject line will always start by "$gvsqw_MailMsg_oracle : " (See help customize this variable).

Note:
Sending mail can be disabled by the option -NoMail for one execution.


Execution errors

Whether you are or not connected to a terminal, the error message appears and an email containing a summary of treatment errors is sent to the address contained in the variable $gvsqw_Mail_oracle (See help customize this variable). The subject line will always start by "$gvsqw_MailMsg_oracle : " (See help customize this variable).
